Photo EPA / Julian Smith
Sunday 12 May The video of the main event with Geert Wilders and Sam Solomon will be ready to be posted this week. It is available for online orders from the QShop and will also be available for $10 at our meetings. The shop also sells books and a fundraiser t-shirt.
Once again many thanks to all who have made this tour possible, and especially to the WA patrons who donated their ticket money - despite the big disappointment. Stand by for 2015.

G'Day and Welcome;
If you are concerned about Islam, you came to the right place.
So far Australians relied mostly on what Muslim apologists and islamophiles
had to say about Islamic doctrine, Islamic history and the
efforts of Islamic supremacists to establish a global Islamic theocracy.
We found this imbalance disturbing, akin to foxes lecturing on the management of the henhouse.
We also believe that no ideology or religion can be beyond criticism.
Q Society of Australia was incorporated by volunteers from all walks of life to provide
Australians with independent and critical information on Islam, leading to a more balanced public
discussion, and to policies with the interest of the majority of Australians
at heart.
After all our nation is based on individual liberties, Western democracy and the
self-evident rights and freedoms which flow from the Judeao-Christian heritage of Australia's constitutional
founders. While Q Society is a secular and a non-party political organisation, we acknowledge the wisdom and
benefits flowing from both our Constitution and traditional Australian and Western values.
These benefits and values are what we seek to uphold, against moral relativism, political correctness
and divisive multi-culturalism.
Many civil-minded migrants from all corners of the world came here to enjoy
these very rights and freedoms, and we are in favour of a multi-ethnic Australia. But a tolerant society
must not become a suicidal society.

message.

Call To Action - Uphold Freedom of Speech in Australia
Freedom of speech is a basic right of free citizens in Western Nations. The ability to freely criticise,
write satire, to mock and poke fun at the King and his merry men is as Australian as koalas and kangaroos.
If someone takes his liberty too far, we can always demand a retract for publishing false
facts, or to sue for defamation and damages. But outside times of war, our freedom of speech was never
subject to the pleasure of political parties, unelected judges or censorship by government agencies.
So what has now beset some politicians and pressure groups of the ideological Left to think they can
commandeer Australians what to say, write and publish? After all this means these politicians and
groups want to control what YOU can hear, read or see.
This dangerous folly has to be stopped and any damage already done reversed. While there is always the claim it's
only to our own greater good, we all know what happens in the real world: Once freedom of speech is subjected to any test or condition,
our all freedoms are placed into the hands of unelected judges and politically appointed members of tribunals.
Once the freedom to speak, write, publish and broadcast is conditioned, filtered and restricted, and perceived infringers
can be hauled before 'tolerance tribunals' and similar political star chambers, what is left to defend our other freedoms? It pays to
re-read the Universal Charter of Human Rights, which Australia has adopted, were under article 18 it says:
"Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression;
this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information
and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers." No 'subject to' or 'provided that...'.
This essential human right is what those forget, who so vehemently seek to impose the Soviet model in
Australia.
Many people had to learn the hard way, that only suffering and bloodshed can bring back freedom.
Do we really need to repeat this lesson here?
Current Campaigns

With the SOS
campaign our supporters alert Australians to the systematic Islamisation of our schools in textbooks, curriculum,
tuck shops, uniforms and installation of parallel rules. Q opposes what may be the well-intentioned
curriculum rationale of social inclusion that effectively fosters the opposite: religious and
cultural exclusion.
Q is committed to real integration and will campaign against those practises
that exclude either Muslims or non-Muslims from participating fully in Australian education, sport,
cultural and social activities. And Q will campaign against an education system allowing one-sided,
positive-only images of Islam to be shown, that amounts to indoctrination rather than real
education. Read and distribute the comprehensive response
written by Mrs Vickie Janson as response to the infamous "Learning From
One Another" publication aimed at refocusing the Australian National
Curriculum.
Education in our public schools must be about the whole truth, and nothing but
the truth. If you work in education, or are a student or parent and have experienced and examples
of Islamisation in your local school, we want to hear from you. Please write to sos@qsocaus.org . We
encourage you to download and pass around the
campaign flyer to alert teachers, parents and students to this
campaign.
Fair Dinkum Food Choices
This campaign targets the massive commercial halal
certification industry and the consequences of buying into this. Halal-certified products are
sharia-compliant products - that is compliance with Islamic sharia law, not just Australian
world-class industry standards.
With industry groups suggesting that two-thirds of Australian
chicken and lamb and more than half our cattle is already slaughtered at halal-certified abattoirs,
Q Society campaigns for clear labelling to ensure freedom of choice remains for consumers who do not wish to support Islamic-only causes
and the spread of sharia law. But it does not stop with meat and meat products; dairy, pasta and crackers
and even toothpaste, chocolate and spring water, nearly every kind of product now comes into our
shops with the extra Islamic food tax.
We have launched a petition to Federal Parliament and encourage you to download,
print and hand-out copies amongst your relations. Australian consumers are mostly unaware of the
discrimination and extra cost associated with Islamic halal certification.
We further encourage you to distribute our leaflet demanding a fair dinkum choice. Save it to
your PC and forward it to all your friends and relations. Understanding the problem is the first
step.
Our friends at www.halalchoices.com.au have already put together a valuable shopping guide
for Australian consumers. Finally, we have for download our Q on: Halal
Certification fact sheet to explain in more detail what Sharia-compliant food is - and how it works. If you
work in and around the halal certification process in the meat industry or at AQIS, or have been
discriminated against in your job because of Sharia/halal requirements, we want to hear from you.
